Matchups for the S.C. High School League boys and girls wrestling championships are set.

The girls teams punched their ticket on Tuesday with the boys clinching their spot on Wednesday. Championships will be held at Dreher High School in Columbia.

Lugoff-Elgin is the lone Midlands team earning a spot in the championship, defeating Chapin, 35-30, in the Class 5A Division II Upper State championship.

L-E will face Fort Mill, which eliminated Eastside’s title run to earn a spot. It is the first time in a decade Eastside won’t be wrestling for a state title.

It will be the first time in SC history that a girls wrestling team championship will be held. Rock Hill will face Greenwood in the inaugural girls championship.
