TAYLORS – West-Oak’s first playoff win since rejoining Western 3A was one that won’t soon be forgotten.
Going on the road Wednesday night in the opening round of the Class 3A State playoffs, the Warriors downed Eastside, winners of six consecutive State Championships, by a final score of 42-23.
West-Oak now advances to the Upper State semifinals at Lugoff-Elgin on Monday, and the Warriors will go in riding an emotional high.
“They’re excited.
