Rock Hill’s Bishop Ashley (137), Robbie Hasselrig (147), and Mitchell Jeter (Hwt.) won individual championships. Jeter was voted the tournament’s Most Outstanding Wrestler. South Pointe’s Tyrell Neely won the 132-pound title.

Lexington was the winner in the middle school tournament with 91.5 points, but Rock hill’s Dutchman Creek made a good showing and placed 2nd with 77.

HOOPS – Thanks to all the coaches that sent in player stats this season, and we wish all of you whose teams made the playoffs nothing less than success.

The snowstorm that blanketed the area on Friday pushed the final night of the regular season ahead in most cases, with a heavy dose of games on Monday. It also affected completing the playoff brackets today in Columbia.

What game are set, if any, involving local teams will still be in The Herald on Sunday. The others will be put on heraldonline.com as soon as they are announced.
