WILLIAMSON S. ROZIER

Bethune, March 15.-Williamson S. Rozier. 75, died at his home, a few miles from Bethune, Monday about noon. Funeral services and burial were at Scotch Cemetery Tuesday at 11 o’clock. The services were conducted by the Rev. M. B. Gunter, pastor of Bethune Baptist church.
Mr. Rozier was in his usual health when he went out to his barn to look after the feeding about noon Monday, where, in a short time, he was found dead by his son, having succumbed to a heart attack. He was a native of North Carolina but had lived in this community many years, where he was held in high esteem by all who knew him and had a large circle of friends who admired him for his many admirable traits of character. He was the oldest member of the Baptist church of Bethune – one of the few resident charter members.
Surviving him are two daughters and four sons: A. B. Rozier of Columbia, Martin Rozier of Cassatt and Misses Bessie and Alice and W. R. Rozier and Arthur Rozier of Bethune; also several grandchildren: a sister in North Carolina, a brother in Georgia and one in Alabama and a number of other relatives.
