CAMDEN – John Wilson Pylant, 53, son of the late John W. and Kate Garrett Pylant, died Friday in Santa Monica, Calif.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Tommie Downey Pylant of Camden, with Camden Military Academy; one son, John W. Pylant Jr. of Camden and one sister, Mrs. J. K. Norton of Camden.

Funeral services will he at 4 p.m. Monday at Kornegay Funeral Home Chapel.
