Obituary of Christopher Sneed

COLUMBIA- A funeral service for Christopher O’Neal Sneed, 52, will be held Friday at 12:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow Greenlawn Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Carter will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 at the funeral home.

Mr. Sneed passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025. Born in Fort Worth, TX, he was a son of Edward and Dorothy Jones Sneed. Mr. Sneed served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed going to the gym, watching TV and movies, and spending time with family.

Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Tonya Wood Sneed; daughter, Shay’Nequa Sneed of Columbia; sons, Christopher Sneed of Columbia, Xavier Sneed of Columbia; siblings, Vince Sneed, Angie Jones, Quincy Sneed, Frederick Jones and Carolette Robertson; and several other relatives and friends.
