CORDOVA, N.C. – Services for Bill Johnson. 83, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cordova Pentecostal Holiness Church, with the Rev. Doug Stirk officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 tonight at Watson-King Funeral Home of Rockingham, N.C.
Mr. Johnson died Thursday in Clarendon Memorial Hospital in Manning.
Surviving are his wife, Bessie Lee Chavis Johnson of Rockingham; sons, Larry Johnson of Dallas and Terry Johnson of Newport, N.C.; a daughter, Jackie J. Parrish of Elgin; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
