Margaret Cassady Holley, age 88, of Kershaw, S.C. passed away, Thursday, May 1, 2025, at her home. Born in Camden, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Tommie Lee Cassady and Minnie Mae Bradley Cassady. Mrs. Holley was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Westville, S.C. and was formerly employed with Clark Controls. She enjoyed reading.
She was first married to the late David Cleveland Faulkenberry and second to the late William B. Holley. In addition to her parents and late husbands, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters: Thelma Jackson, Kay Kahill and Polly Walden and 3 brothers, Ed Cassady, Henry Cassady and Billy Webb.
She is survived by her daughter, Cathy F. Taylor and her husband, Mitchum; 2 grandsons, Jason Taylor and his wife, Sumer and Dustin Taylor and his wife, Misty and 4 grandchildren, Hannah Taylor, Sydney Taylor, Jaxon Taylor and Tyler Bickers; and sister, Virginia Williams. She is also survived by her faithful canine companion, Cora.
A graveside service celebrating the life of Mrs. Holley will be held on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Camden, S.C., Rev. Jimmy Holley will officiate the service. The burial will follow in the cemetery.
The family will greet friends following the service in the cemetery.
