Albert May, Sr. Obituary

Albert L. May, Sr., 84, son of the late Dorothy Palmer May, died on Monday, May 8, 2023. He was a machinist and small business owner. He holds a patent for the design of a motorcycle transmission. He served in the 25th Infantry Division at Fort Richardson, Alaska, from 1958 to 1960.

He endured great adversity from his early years, and thrived.

He cared for his wife, Sara, in the waning years of her life as she battled Alzheimers. His hard-fast dedication was to keep her in the home, and he accomplished this goal. He was her sole caregiver until the time of her passing at great peril to his own health. He was a gentle and steadfast man who will be dearly missed.

Albert is survived by his children, Ann Hendrickson, Ginger Ryall, Ken May, Albert L. May, Jr., David May, and Weldon May.
