LUGOFF- A funeral service for Evelyn Marie Hammond, 76, will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Lugoff Church of God with burial to follow in Greenhaven Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Tim Shirley will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 1:00 pm at the church. 

Mrs. Hammond passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025. Born in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Ray Cooper and Dora Alexander. Mrs. Hammond was a member of Lugoff Church of God. She enjoyed traveling, singing, and ministering to others.

Surviving are her husband, Paul Hammond; daughter, Tammy Elliott of Lugoff; grandchildren, Kristina Wooster, Benjamin Wooster; 3 great-grandchildren; and brothers, James Cooper and Ray Cooper. 

She was predeceased by a son, Paul Dodge; a sister, Beverly Humphries; and a brother, Brent Cooper.
