Able Gonzalez Obituary

With a heart full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Able Xavier Ramos Gonzalez. Born on November 30, 1997, in Lancaster, SC, he was a son of Armando and Grace Ramirez Gonzalez. Able, a resident of Kershaw, South Carolina, was a man who cherished the simpler things in life. 

Able was a gifted concrete finisher, working diligently in the construction industry. When he wasn’t working, Able found joy and tranquility in fishing. The solitude of the water, the patience required, and the thrill of the catch, mirrored his humble, patient, and exciting personality. 

Able is survived by his loving parents, Armando and Grace Gonzalez of Kershaw; son, Ian Gonzalez of Kershaw; sister, Adriana Gonzalez (Christian Gomez) of Kershaw; brother, Adrian Gonzalez of Kershaw.  He was predeceased by a brother, Armando Gonzalez, Jr.

The visitation will take place on Friday, December 26, 2025, at 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, 832 Ridgeway Road, Lugoff, South Carolina, 29078. A service to celebrate Able’s life will be held Friday, at 2:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Quaker Cemetery.
