B. C. Sanders’ Funeral Today

Funeral services for Bunyan C. Sanders, 54, of Route 3, Columbia, who died Wednesday afternoon, will be conducted at 2:30 Friday afternoon, from the Thompson Funeral Home by the Rev. H. G. Clayton and the Rev. Mr. Mitchell. Interment will be in the Union Baptist churchyard with full military services rendered at the graveside.

Survivors included his widow, Mrs. Maggie Sanders of Route 3, Columbia; a stepson, Curtis W. Keith of Columbia; two brothers, C. W. Sanders of Columbia and Joseph A. Sanders of Blaney; one sister, Mrs. John W. Pio of Chester, and two grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be C. B. Davis, R. E. Sanders, Elbert Sanders, John A Davis, Willie Brazell and Arthur Lee.

Honorary pallbearers will be Lee Peak Sr., T. H. Motley, Ed Campbell, A. B. Nelson, S. B. Perry, Ed Shannon, Owens Grigsby, L. R. Sanders, Sidney Heath, Donald Watson, Sr., Leslie Moak, F. W. Dennies, D. F. Martin, Fred Martin, A. L. Jacobs, Everette Stockman, Otta Hornsby, Roy Hornsby, Eugene Jacobs and Earl Jacobs.

Pallbearers met at the funeral home at 2:20 p.m.
