School’s out after Sunday fire – Lugoff-Elgin High expected to reopen Wednesday

Classes were canceled today at Lugoff-Elgin High School after a fire erupted Sunday afternoon in a storage room at the school. Firefighters from four companies responded to the blaze, which began about 5:30 p.m., Lugoff Fire Chief Robert Polksaid Sunday.
