COMMUNITY HAPPENINGS Elgin holds benefit for teen Residents of Elgin will hold an auction at 6 p.m. Saturday in the gym of Blaney Baptist Church on Main Street in Elgin. All proceeds will go towards building a ramp and handicap-accessible bathroom for Jessie Jones. The 16-year-old was recently paralyzed in a driving accident.
