The Byrnes Rebels built a 15-point lead at halftime Tuesday night at Spartanburg and cruised to and 88-65 win over the Vikings. The Rebels improve to 23-0, 11-0 in Region 2-5A. Jamari Cullen led the Rebels with 17 points. Colt Fowler was one of two players with 16 points and contributed 12 assists. The Rebels get a visit from Dorman Friday night. Federal jury finds woman guilty of drug charges, smuggling contraband into South Carolina federal prison

FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A former federal correctional officer in Williamsburg County has been found guilty of drug charges and smuggling contraband into a prison. Jurors in U.S. District Court in Florence convicted Angela Crosland, 51, of Elgin, of bribery, money laundering, distribution of methamphetamine and suboxone, and filing false income tax returns after a two-day trial.
