Rabid kitten exposed 8 people, 2 pets to deadly virus in SC. More cats possibly affected

Eight people and two animals were exposed to a rabid kitten in South Carolina , the state Department of Public Health confirmed in a news release. The kitten was found near Ashley Creek and Vistaview drives in Elgin with wounds of an unknown origin, according to a news release. Tuesday’s rewind: Dreher knocks off rival AC Flora. L-E upsets fourth-ranked Westwood

The Dreher High boys basketball team stayed unbeaten in region play and knocked off its rival in the process. Austin Glasscho scored 17 points as the Blue Devils defeated AC Flora, 57-54.
