He died on 20 Mar 1900 in Boykin, Kershaw, South Carolina, USA. He was buried in Camden, Kershaw, South Carolina, USA at Quaker Cemetery.

Death of Dr. Charles H. Green

Special to The State.

Boykin, March 22. – Dr. Chas. H. Green, formerly of Sumter, but for the last few years a resident of Arizona on account of ill health, did here on the 20th. He was a physician beloved and respected by all. His short life was one of usefulness and charity to his fellow-man, and his life was one overflowing with love. The World was better that such a man lived in it.

He leaves a wife, two little ones and a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. The funeral was held in Camden cemetery on March 21st. The family have the sympathy of this community.
