Death of Mr. James Motley

A few days ago Mr. James Motley died very unexpectedly in this city at the residence of Mr. W. W. Horsford. He was sick but a few days. Mr. Motley was a native of Kershaw county, but he linked his fortune with the people of Richland. His exceptionally strong character formed upon principles of duty, gave promise of future usefulness and success. Faithful, kind and confidence wand esteem of all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance.
