CAMDEN, March 26. – John C. Williams, aged 50, died at his home in Kirkwood this afternoon about 3 o’clock. For some time past Mr. Williams had not been in good health. A few weeks ago he was stricken while at work in his store and was taken from his home where medical attention was given him. He rallied from his first attack but suffered several other attacks.

Mr. Williams was a native of this county and was associated with his brother. R. S. Williams, in the grocery business. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Misses Estelle, Cora and Calla Sue, the eldest bing a student at Winthrop college, but was at home at the time of her father’s death. He has a sister residing in Connecticut who came to visit him recently during his illness but had returned to her home. Mrs. W. O. Hay of Camden is also a sister.
