Funeral of Baby

Funeral services for Esther Mae Brewer, the six-year*-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. B. Brewer, 414 Blanding street, who was found dead in the bed with her mother Friday morning, were held at 11 o’clock Saturday morning at Union Baptist church at Blaney, conducted by the Rev. E. H. Sperow, pastor of the First Congregational church of Columbia. Interment was in the churchyard. The child had been ill about two weeks but her death came very unexpectedly to her parents as her condition was not thought especially serious. She is survived by her mother, who was before marriage, Miss Lela Mae Dawkins of Columbia, her father, B. B. Brewer, and three sisters, Frances Brewer, Marguerite Brewer and Cleo Brewer.
