MRS. C. S. SLOAN

Lugoff. March 14 — (Special) – Mrs. Laura Annie Sloan, 58, wife of C. S. Sloan of Lugoff, died at 1:15 this morning after an illness of several weeks.

She was the daughter of the late Rev. George Washington Atkinson of Blaney.

Mrs. Sloan is survived by five children: Mrs. Dora Richardson of Camden, Mrs. Pansy Richardson of Lugoff, Mrs. Ada Miles of Columbia, Troy W. Sloan of Lugoff, Pfc. Paul H. Sloan of the marine corps, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services are incomplete.
