Paschal Funeral Is Wednesday

Funeral Services for Leonard C. Paschal will be held Wednesday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the Harmony Baptist Church, near Blaney, conducted by the Rev. Paul K. Drum, the Rev. A. L. Willis and the Rev. J. G. Jennings. Interment will be in the church yard.

Mr. Paschal, 69, died Monday night in the Baptist Hospital, after a brief illness.

He was born in the Harmony Community near Blaney were he spent his entire life. He was the son of the late James P. Paschal, and Mattie Evans Paschal, was a retired farmer, and a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jesse Sims Paschal; three daughters, Mrs. Thurston Goff, Miss Billie June Paschal, both of Blaney, and Mrs. Bobby Drum of Columbia; three sons, Raymond Paschal and Hazel Paschal, both of Columbia; and Elmer Paschal of Blaney; one sister, Mrs. Edna Stockman of Blaney, and a number of nieces and nephews.

The body will be taken to the home this afternoon.

L. C. Paschal Of Blaney Dies at Hospital

Leonard C. Paschal, 69, died at 8:20 last night at the Baptist Hospital, after a brief illness.

Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Jesse Sims Paschal; three daughters, Mrs. Thurston Goff, Miss Billie June Paschal, both of Blaney, and Mrs. Bobby Drum of Columbia; three sons, Raymond Paschal and Hazel Paschal, both of Columbia; and Elmer Paschal of Blaney; one sister, Mrs. Edna Stockman of Blaney, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral Arrangements are incomplete. The body is at Paschal Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the home this afternoon.

Paschal Rites Held Today Near Blaney

Funeral Services for Leonard C. Paschal, 69, retired farmer, who died Monday at the Baptist Hospital, will be held at 4 o’clock, this afternoon from the Harmony Baptist Church, near Blaney, conducted by the Rev. Paul K. Drum, the Rev. A. L. Willis and the Rev. J. G. Jennings. Interment will be in the churchyard.

He spent his entire lifetime in Harmony Community, near Blaney, where he was born, a son of the late James P. Paschal, and Mattie Evans Paschal. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church, and a retired farmer.

Active pallbearers will be six nephews, G. P. Paschal, Earl Stockman, Everett Stockman, J. P. Stockman, and William Stockman.

Honorary pallbearers will to be Fred Bookman, Charlie Kelly, Lawrence Peake, Ed Campbell, Walter Butler, Jimmie Motley, Grover Wilson, William Ballentine, William Easler, W. B. Cooper, Donnie Watson, Walter Miles, Mannis Kelly, G. K. Kunkle, Charlie Brown, J. P. Brown, Walter Brown, Frank Abbott, Elmore Jeffers, Dave Atkinson, Levi Branham, and Dr. Robert Cochran.

Active pallbearers will meet at 3:30 at the late residence, while honorary pallbearers will meet at 3:55 at the church.
