Miss Brenda Kay Medlin and Johnny Marion Grigsby were united in marriage Saturday at Capital City Baptist Temple. The 4 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Paul Monroe, and followed by a reception in the church fellowship hall.

The bride, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Thomas Medlin of Elgin, attended Spring Valley High School.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny E. Grigsby, of Elgin, attended Lugoff Elgin High School and is employed at Mattor Electric Service.

After a wedding trip, the couple will reside in Elgin.
