COLUMBIA- Virginia Miles Brazell died Sunday in local hospital.

The funeral was today in Shives Funeral Home. Burial was in St. Paul Cemetery.

Mrs. Brazell was born Feb. 11, 1925, in Blaney, a daughter of John Miles and Marie Hood Miles. She was a member of the Church of God.

Surviving are her husband, Douglas L. Brazell; four daughters, Vivian Rish of Jonesboro, Ga., Sarah Davis of Batesburg, Alice Gates of Charleston and Virginia Bayless of Columbia; and three sisters, Margaret Branham and Almena Boykin, both of Lugoff, and Beulah McArdle of Bloomington, Minn.

Mrs. Virginia M. Brazell

Mrs. Virginia Miles Brazell, 66, of Sharpe Road died Sunday.

Born in Blaney, she was a daughter of John and Marie Hood Miles. She was a member of the Church of God of Covenant Road.

Surviving are her husband, Douglas Lawrence Brazell; daughters, Mrs. Vivian B. Rish of Jonesboro, Ga., Mrs. Sarah Ellen Davis of Batesburg, Mrs. Alice B. Gates of Charleston and Mrs. Virginia Joann Bayless of Columbia; and sisters, Mrs. Margaret Branham and Mrs. Almena Boykin, both of Lugoff, and Mrs. Beulah McArdle of Bloomington, Minn.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Talbert-Shives Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, with burial in St. Paul Cemetery, Miles Family Division, near Elgin.
