COLUMBIA — Services for Leslie Dale Branham, 80, will be held Tuesday at noon at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Crescent Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Branham died Sunday, February 10, 2008. Born in Richland County, he was the son of the late Schisvers Leslie Branham and Daisy Brazell Branham. An Army veteran, he served in Japan following WW II. After retiring from Lexington Cleaners, he worked part-time for Chick- Fil-A on Garners Ferry Road.

Mr. Branham was a faithful member of Maple Street Southern Methodist Church where he served on the Board of Stewards, treasurer and usher. He greatly enjoyed bass fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Vera Gladden Branham; son and daughter-in-law, Rocky Branham and Lynne Branham of Chapin; daughter and son-in-law, Brenda Coker and Heyward Coker of Columbia; brother and sister-in-law, S. Lewis Branham and Val Branham of Columbia; grandchildren, Lydia, Angie, Minette, Stephanie and Lee; and nine great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son, Timothy Dale Branham.
