Bill Branham

ELGIN – Funeral service for William “Bill” Talmadge Branham, will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Harmony Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Chris Smith and the Rev. Dr. Dan Griffin will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff, and other times at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Branham, 1032 Tookiedoo Lane, Elgin.

Mr. Branham died Sunday, April 18, 2010. Born in Kershaw County, he was a son of the late Dewitt Talmadge Branham and Roxie Peake Branham. He retired from the Monofilament Division of the Shakespeare Company. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Survived by his brothers, James Murdic Branham (Evelyn), Gordon Truett Branham (Mary) and Caliph “Sam” Branham (Brenda); sister, Martha Crumpton (Alfred); brother-in-law, Herbert Cooper; 16 nieces and nephews, and numerous greatnieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Lila Mae Cooper and Clara Faile Branham.
