Linda June Watts Hastings

ORLANDO, Fla. – Funeral service for Linda June Watts Hastings, 68, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 18, 2013, at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, Columbia, S.C., with burial in the churchyard. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service. Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, Columbia, is assisting the family.

Mrs. Hastings died Saturday, March 9, 2013. Born in Camden, S.C., she was a daughter of the late George Watts and Eva Smith Watts. Mrs. Hastings graduated from Blaney High School, in Elgin, S.C. She had a successful career in Real Estate Property Management. Her certifications included Licensed Community Association Manager (LCAM), Certified Property Manager (CPM), Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) and Registered Apartment Manager (RAM). She had a charitable heart and was known to contribute to many charities, especially those that benefitted children and animals.

Surviving are her husband, Peter C. Hastings Sr. of Orlando; son, Peter C. Hastings Jr. (Courtney) of Richmond, Va.; daughter, Monica Hastings Fichman (Dave) of Charleston, S.C.; brother, Lavon Watts; and five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Anne Watts and Doris Watts and brothers, Don Watts, Dickie Watts, Bobby Watts, Willie Watts and Pete Watts.
