Obituary of Barbara Ann Kinsey

ELGIN – Graveside service for Barbara Ann Kinsey, 69, will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m.  in Royal Pines Independent Holiness Church Cemetery, Columbia.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home, Lugoff.  Memorials may be made to Royal Pines Independent Holiness Church.

    Ms. Kinsey passed away on Friday, October 1, 2021.  Born in Kershaw County, she was the daughter of the late James Ray Young and Estelle Higgins Young.  She enjoyed crocheting, working puzzles and listening to gospel music.

    Surviving are her children, Patricia Ann Stephens, Joseph Charles Stephens (Melissa) and Daniel Stephens (Paula); siblings, Billy Ray Young, Anna Marie Miles, Annie Walton Cleverly, John William Young, Catherine Ponder and Jo Ann Young; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.  She was predeceased by her parents; and brothers, James Matthew Young and Charles Edward Young.
