Obituary of Alva Gene Branham

RIDGEWAY – Alva Gene Branham, 83, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024. Born in Kershaw County, S.C., he was a son of the late Hebert Alvin Branham and Beatrice Jean Branham. Gene enjoyed traveling, camping, being on the lake with friends and boating.

Surviving are his wife, Marie Moore Branham; children, Dierdre Andrews, Ronald “Ronnie” Branham, Thomas “Tom” Branham (Leeanne), Herbert Branham (Ritza); step-children, Keith Toole, Tina “Sissy” Spires; siblings, Larry Branham (Christine), Muriel Drawdy (Luther), Michelle Fraizer (Anthony); 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.   

On March 11, 2024, Alva Gene Branham was mentioned as the deceased father in the obituary of Ronald Gene “Ronnie” Branham.
