Obituary of Ethel C Graves
CAMDEN- A celebration of life service for Ethel Cornelia Graves, 103, will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The Rev. Trish Sargent will officiate. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Morningside Presbyterian Church at PO Box 572, Camden S.C. 29021.
Mrs. Graves, wife of the late Frank Kenneth Graves, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Born in Jefferson, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Boyd and Martha Ellen Eubanks. Mrs. Graves was a member of Morningside Presbyterian Church. She worked as a seamstress and enjoyed gardening, flowers, sewing and cooking.
Surviving are her daughters, Sue Graves Branham (Byron) of Ridgeway, Ann Graves Williams (Mackey) of Camden, Frankie Graves Atkerson of Camden; sisters, Leoda Starnes, Carolyn Douglas, Sudie Jordan; grandchildren, Dona Ammons (George Speedy), Trey Williams (Michelle), Ken Williams (Jada), LaWanda Welsh (Bryan), Melissa Foil (Craig), Christy Mooneyhan (Chuck); 9 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son-in-law, Rev. Jimmy Atkerson; a sister, Eufalla Rollins; and brothers, John Eubanks, Adam Eubanks, David Eubanks and Carl Eubanks.
