Obituary of Elizabeth Earline Moyer

Elizabeth Earline Dawkins Moyer, 89, of Elgin, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024. Born in Richland County, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Mary Moore Dawkins and the wife of the late Leonard Moyer. She spent her working life as a truck driver, often taking her kids along with her. Elizabeth enjoyed being in nature, especially looking at flowers, birds, and fish. She loved cooking for her family and having everyone over to share a meal. She was also a huge Elvis Presley fan.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Donald Isenhoward, Randy Patton, Tina Patton, Tracy Meek, Donny Moyer, Rusty Moyer, Jennifer Moyer, and Bridgette Moyer Steinwall; her sisters, Annette Duncan and Lauramae Reese; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her children, Dwight Isenhoward, William Patton, Jr., Roy Patton, and Russell Patton; and her siblings, Betty Williams and Buster Dawkins.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
