WINSBORO- Lester Harold Patterson, 75, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024. Born in Charleston, W.V., he was a son of the late William Hershel and Thelma Louise Patterson. Mr. Patterson, husband of the late Merilee Gene Patterson, served in the U.S. Marines as a helo mechanic. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being outdoors, boating, and working on cars.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Jennifer Lynn Medina (Michael) and GinaMaria Jensen (Mike, Sr.); grandchildren, Mycal Medina, Jr. (Nicole), Kayla Pendergrass, Miranda Pendergraass, Michael Jensen, Jr., Kia Alspach and Kristopher Medina (Sarah); great-grandchildren, Loralie Vaccaro, Mycal Medina III, Kora Hale, Levi Tedder, Ellie Polley-Perez and Ezio Jensen. He was predeceased by a sister, Ella Fay Harless and a brother, Hershel Eugene Patterson.
A graveside service with military honors will be held Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 10:00 am in Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia, SC. The Rev. Todd Horton will be officiating.
