  1. Uncle Tom,
I am truly sorry I didn’t know of your funeral in time to attend. Aunt Elaine, along with your beautiful adult children, has spearheaded the annual Watkins-DeMarco Family Thanksgiving Gathering. You were especially included in our meal blessing; to be remembered always. We are all thankful and blessed to have gotten close enough to share your personal talents and wisdom. I know I’ve told you before you passed, but I will always cherish and protect the beautiful cradle you made for Rick and me while expecting our firstborn. I may be a little too proud and protective of the exquisite carpentry skills you used to handcraft the beautiful surprise gift you gave us. I haven’t let either of my children, who enjoyed many naps in it, have it for their own children. I know it’s a family heirloom, but I don’t know if I can give up my ability to, at any time I choose, look at it and revel in such loving memories of my babies napping safely in a beautiful gift that was blessed by you, while thinking of my family and me as you crafted the cradle with your own hands. Peace and joy be with you in the arms of Jesus, and all your relatives who arrived in your heavenly home before you.
    Much love to you.
