Obituary of Darlene Kiba
CAMDEN – A memorial service for Darlene Kiba, 86, will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either the Foundation Fighting Blindness – fighting to find a cure for blindness caused by retinitis pigmentosa (RP), available at www.fightingblindess.org or Dogs Inc. – providing free guide dogs to the blind, available at www.dogsinc.org.
Mrs. Kiba, a devout Christian; a loving wife; and caring mother and grandmother, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Born in Akron, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Ethel (Wilson) Mason. While living in Akron, Darlene was an avid bowler and enjoyed taking care of her family. After moving to Camden, she enjoyed teaching and attending numerous bible studies, fellowship with friends, reading books on tape and being with the love of her life, Steve.
Surviving is her husband, Steve E. Kiba; daughter, Alicia and her husband Richard Wilson; son, Jeff and his wife Amy Kiba; 4 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Ken Mason; and predeceased by her brother, Chuck Mason.
