Cassatt – A graveside service for Annie Evelyn Cassidy, 87, will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America at https://alzfdn.org/

Mrs. Cassidy, wife of the late William Jennings Cassidy, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025 at her home.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late John Carson Cook and Mary Ellen Hunter Cook.  Mrs. Cassidy was a member of Refuge Baptist Church.  She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Darrell Cassidy (Brenda) of Camden, Tammie Johnson of Camden, Randy Cassidy (Debbie) of Bethune, Donnie Broughton (Renee) of Camden, Robin McMullen (Michael) of Columbia, Rev. Tim Broughton (Peggy) of Cassatt; a brother, Richard Cook; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased by children, Freddie Cassidy, Wayne Broughton; and brothers, Bennie Cook and Bobby Cook.
