Obituary of David LeRoy Dukes, II

Camden – David LeRoy Dukes, II, 63 passed away at home on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.  Born in Kingstree, S.C., he was the son of the late David LeRoy Dukes, Sr. and Delma Gertrude Tisdale.  He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

He thoroughly enjoyed every moment with his grandkids, and he loved his dog “Bella.” He enjoyed crafts, especially woodworking and he was always ready, when the opportunity presented itself, to wet a line and go fishing.  

Left to cherish his memories are his children; Rebecca Jackson (Robert) of Camden and David LeRoy Dukes III (Lacy) of Pelion; his grandkids, Savannah (Zach), Curtis, Logan. Avaree, Gabriel, Rylan, and Kendrick; sisters, Glenda Butler (Ben), and Pam Thompson (Cam); and a brother Nathan Dukes (Betty). He was predeceased by a brother, Ricky Dukes.

A memorial service will be held at Antioch Baptist Church on March 29 at 1:00 pm. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 12:00 pm. There will be a fellowship afterwards.
