Jesse Clifford Triplett, 87, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 9, 2025.  Born in Carter County, Ky., he was the son of the late Jesse Edward Triplett and Melissa Alice Robinson Salyers. He retired from Coal Mining in West Virginia before moving to South Carolina.  

Mr. Triplett was a loving and devoted husband to Joyce Ann Floyd Triplett, whom he married on October 1, 1962.  In addition to his wife, he leaves to cherish his memory his children, Debbie Johnson of Camden, Denise Gore (Don Corbett) of Camden, Jessica Clark of Lugoff, John Triplett (close friend, Chris) of Lugoff, Philip Triplett (Chasity) of Lugoff, and Adam Triplett of Lugoff; grandchildren, Brittany Pierce (Jacob), Zachary Gore (Caitlin), Scott Clark, Peyton Triplett, Faith Grant, Corbin Grant, and Addy Grant; and great-grandchildren, Jayce Pierce, Savannah Pierce, Sadie Pierce, Emmett Gore, and Archer Gore.

Services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
