Rebecca C. Gainey Obituary

Rebecca Carol Gainey, 68, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of the late Clayton and Elise Rabon Hancock.  

Surviving are her daughter, Jennifer Gainey Baker of Kershaw; grandson, Will Sowell; and many in-laws, nieces, and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Joseph Travis Gainey; son, William Joseph “Joe” Gainey; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dores and Doris Gainey.

A private family service will be held.
